A little piece of Heaven

Today has to be one of the most hectic weeks. Some tension-filled but some very enjoyable.

Yesterday, 7th March, I went to see Mary Poppins at QPAC, Queensland Performing Arts Centre. I have to say WOW. They have the best lighting, the best choreography, amazing backdrops and scene changes and no doubt, the BEST actors. While I was enjoying the sceneplay, I was reminded of Vivian as she said she would love to do performing arts. Well, I started imagining her on stage. Pretty cool. The best bit was when Mary Poppins "floated" or "flew", defying gravity towards the audience a.k.a ME, and continued her journey by flying upwards. A day that I will never forget.

Today, We celebrated the International Women's Day by attending a breakfast at the Brisbane Convention Centre. We were serve a variety of fruit, yoghurt  topped with muesli and sultanas, pastries and muffins, last but not least, ham cheese tomato croissant. YUM. but the main purpose of this event is to celebrate the development of Women around the world as an equal. In the 1970's, teachers could not be pregnant and could not keep their last name as a right, only having the name of a man, one's husband. To all women, celebrate this day, women are treated as equals in some countries but are still downplayed at some. So be fortunate that your country gives the rights for you as a women. Happy International Women's Day! :)

English Essay. WOW, I would have done better, but I wasn't in the right situation to. I am not feeling very well, I know that's not much of an excuse. I have did some errors, can't change it now. So I shall move on, learn from my mistakes, and hopefully do much better next time. I can only blame myself, not my cold, not the time going so fast, but me. As I sit here hoping my English teacher is not harsh on the Grading side of things, I have to look forward to Week 9, two weeks from now. I have 7 papers in 4 days. Wish me luck <3

P.S. Have a good day guys :)
